I have created an Extender Window and it works great and I can access it via Employee Cards through the "additional" tab at the top of the window. Other users get the message, you do not have security privilege to open this window. I know I have to go through Security Tasks but there are so many options there, I can't find the window name I created so that I can give access. HELP...

Before following these instructions you may want to execute them in a test environment. At the very least, read and understand them as you may be modifiy system defaults.
1. Create new Security Task.
Dynamics GP >> Tools >> Setup >> System >> Security Tasks
Name it according to your convention and describe it properly and set the catagory to Payroll.
Something like EXT_EMP_CARD
OR
If you are using "canned" roles and tasks, open the CARD_0501* (Maintain Employees Task)
2. Add permissions to the new Extender object
Product: Extender
Type: Extender Resources
Series: Windows
Check your new Window
Save
3. Create new Security Task.
Dynamics GP >> Tools >> Setup >> System >> Security Tasks
Name it according to your convention and describe it properly and set the catagory to Payroll.
Like EXT_DEFAULT
OR
If you are using "canned" roles and tasks, open the DEFAULT (Default User)
4. Add permissions to "see" Extender objects
Product: Extender
Type: Windows
Series: Project
Check Extender Windows
Save
If you added new tasks you will have to add them to the User's appropriate role.
If you editted default tasks, they should be able to see the Window. Sorry to be brief.
