Initialization checklists stuck in Sync.database step

Hi All

I try deploy new test environment using LCS, but during initialization checklist, I got stuck in Sync.database step

I already follow steps in http://technet.microsoft.com/EN-US/library/dn798908.aspx

I already run sync.database and it seems everything is fine (I didn't get any error). But in list, still not mark as complete

How to sove it ?

Hi.

What version are you on? R2 (CU?), R3 ... Have you imported the License file? Have you tried first to restart the AOS and redo the sync step again. The user you are using is the same user you installed the AOS, right?

Hi

I using AX2012 R3 CU8

How I can import license file ? I can't access to System Administration > Setup > License information

I already try restart AOS and do sync again, but still got same result

I using same user with AOS --> <domain>/DynamicsInstallUser

Before I start initialization checklists, I run AXBuild compile in AOS Server.

I read in other thread, it seems AXBuild compilation not recommended for AX2012 R3 ? :(

I try re-run compile application again in Dynamics AX Client, but I see it seems application get hang :(

It seems there's bug/error in AXBuild compilation for AX2012 R3. Because after I run AXBuild and try sync.database, I got error.

Then I try restart AOS, re-run full compilation from initialization checklist (I didn't run AXBuild compilation) and then re-run sync. database, sync. database is completed and I can continue to next steps

Hi Mithun

Do you already this steps :

1. Restart AOS service

2. Re-run fill compilation from initialization checklist

3.Re-run sync.database

I avoid run AXBuild compilation

The AXbuild compilation does the same as the one on the initalisation checklist only faster. The problem is that AXbuild does not mark the step as complete on your checklist.

Hello, have you been able to solve this problem? If so, may I know how you eventually solved it? I ran into the same issue last week and I have tried virtually everything I got online; I have run application compilation from both the checklist and Axbuild.exe and yet, the synch ain't giving way. I am running AX 2012 R3. I'd be glad to hear from you!
