Before I raise a support requests I just wondered if anyone had encountered this problem with the new unified user interface style apps in CRM.
When searching using the categorized search - the new UI just seems to hang
The relevance search works - here is a picture of both app styles on the same database working fine:
When I change to Categorized search - the new UI app just hangs showing the spinner

The old style UI works without a hitch .
The only special thing we have in these apps is virtual Odata entities - but these are not part of the search ( just accounts / contacts )
Just wondering if anyone else had seen this or would have an idea about what would cause it

Well this seems to have come good - not sure if support fixed anything (they didnt get back to me ) - but the search now works fine

I am running with version 9.0.2.449 in a trial environment and it works perfectly so not happening here. Hopefully you find a solution with Microsoft on this for your instance.
