How to query the created hour using advance find?

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Hi,

How to get records created before 09/09/2016 11:41 AM by using Advanced find?  I put time in search criteria, but looks CRM just check the date. Screenshot_5F00_091416_5F00_121149_5F00_PM.jpg

Any way I can query the hour? Thanks a lot!

    Hi,

As Aiden mentioned there is not any way to specify time in query.

but you can try exporting data to excel and then remove records which are create after

    09\09\2016 11:41 AM

When doing advanced find, do query like

Created On                   On or Before           9/10/2016

and add created on Column in result set, then export to Excel and remove records which are create after 9/9/2016 11:41 AM.

    Hi,

Unfortunately, you can't query CRM down to the time value usin any technique (SDK, Fetch, Advanced Find, etc). All the datetime comparisons are at the date level. It's a real pain when time is important because you need to retrieve all the values then filter the resulting list.

Hope this helps! I'd appreciate if you'd mark this as Answering your question.

    Thanks,

     Aiden
