Hi Lawrence,
you can change the connection time from HQ.
You can schedule it every hour or every 30mins...
Open Hq Manager -->Admin-->Stores--> [select the store][click properties][click connection schedule]
There you can define round the clock connection for each store.... But try do staggered connection or avoid connecting them at one time.. So that , perfomance will not be affected.
