qty on hand on a historical date

Hello.  Can anyone help me with a SQL select to get a qty on hand on a particular date. Thanks.

    Hi,

    The standard reports in AX are using the table InventSum which contains an actual physical on-hand. For a date calculation the Inventory transactions between reporting date and current date are used to define a delta that should be considered.

    There would be an option to summarize the InventTrans table, but this table might have a huge amount of records. Performance wise this might be not the best solution. For that reason, standard AX reports are using the first described option.

    You can do this using the standard Inventory Value report or the Inventory Value cube.   Have you looked at those?
