Hi,
I am looking for a way to create a task as a campaign activity which gets distributed to all members of a Marketing List. Has anybody experience in doing this?

I assume you are referring to the original Marketing Module in Dynamics 365. In this module, Members of a marketing list are Contacts, Leads or Accounts. These records are not Users so they can't have tasks allocated to them.
If you want to allocate tasks to a number of users, then you shouldn't be using the marketing module.

you are right, I want to allocate tasks to users and I want to do this in the context of a campaign by using marketing lists. I am aware of the fact that marketing list members are contacts, leads and accounts.But I have to manage more than 300 users working on one campaign. Therefore I am working with marketing lists for the users. My approach is to create a contact for each User. The appropriate user is the owner if this contact. After creating a task for the contact (via distributing the task(s) to the marketing list members), this task will be assigned to the owning users of the contacts via wf. But I don`t find a way to create a task as a campaign activity. Any ideas?

I'm not aware of a way to distribute tasks via the standard marketing campaign functionality. My suggestion would be to build a custom component that distributes your tasks to users directly without creating contacts for Users. Creating a contact for each user in my view is not a very good practice. At least you will have 300 contacts in your database that are just dummy data. A custom component that creates a task and assigns it to each user will be a better approach in my view. This could be a plugin, custom workflow or an action that are triggered at the end of your marketing campaign.
