Debugger breakpoint in Base Application object

Hello,

We are running Business Central 2020 on premises.

I have installed AL Extension Pack for VS Code. From the object designer I have opened page 22 and I have added a breakpoint on the trigger OnAfterGetCurrRecord().

My setting in launch.json is "startupObjectId": 22.

But when I start the debugger pressing F5 it does not stop on the breakpoint.

What might be the reson?

    You have to be sure that base application is installed with ShowMyCode = true.

    Secondarily, you have to be sure that this key is addes server side in the customsettings.config file (and restart the service)

    I have changed in ProtectNavAppSourceFiles to false

    C:\Program Files\Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central\160\Service\customsettings.config.

    I also have in app.json

    "showMyCode": true

    But the problem is not resolved. The debugger does not stop at breakpoints in Base Application objects.

    I would then create a dummy hello world extension in the place where you need to have the breakpoint to stop and add something like e.g.

    if 1=1 then; //add breakpoint here

    This will work for sure
