Item Quantities and Stock Status values

Good day everyone,

If I were to run the Item quantities smartlist as at a particular date, shouldn't the value match that of the stock status as at that said date?

If it does not, how do I check for the difference?

    Rosemary,

    I would always be careful when looking at Inventory Reports and trying to compare costs, as this can be dependent on the Valuation Method.

    If your Inventory is setup and the HITB is in place depending on what version Inventory was implemented, then the Historical IV Trial Balance Report is the correct report.

    You may also find an Inventory Reconcile needs to be ran, as the IV00102 Table may be out of balance with quantities.
