Can anyone tell me what the Position\Pay Code Window does and the implications of using it?
It is accessed by navigating as follows:
HR Payroll>> Cards>> Payroll>> Pay Code
Then Select an employee
Then click on the button Human Resources
Then click on button Pos\Pay Link

This screen is used to show the high/low range of salaries for this position. So if you hire and engineer and assign the engineer position to this employees you can click on this link to see what has been designated as the range of salaries for this position. You will find the setup for this under Tools->Setup->Human Resources->Position and Pay Code.
