We currently have SQL server and Solomon 6.5 running on the same server. We are going to move and separate onto 2 new servers with SQL server on one server and Solomon and FRx on a different server. What is the best way to do this?

If I were you, I would ask your reseller to assist. If you are having difficulty with your present reseller, then ask MS for assistance.
There are a few tables that might need to be changed, for example.
