Issue with Tier 2 environment backup export via LCS

Hello,

I am unable to perform a Tier 2 environment database export via LCS. The process runs for approximately one hour and then ends with a rollback. There are no error messages, and the log files are empty.

I have tried restarting the services, but this did not resolve the issue. I also checked SQL Insights, but found no relevant information or indicators of failure. There is sufficient free space for the backup, so disk capacity should not be the cause.

I have other environments with the same configuration and parameters, and the backup process completes successfully there.

Do you have any ideas on what could be causing this behavior or what else I could check?

Hi @CU14021142-0,

I have moved your question from D365 General to D365 Finance, hope you don't mind.

Don't recall that you can check anything, my advice is to open a support ticket with Microsoft. But I might be wrong.

Hi

There were a number of know issues on 17th & 18th March regarding DB movement, however export wasn't affected as far as I know.

Retry, as this is resolved, if it doesn't work raise a support issues as it may be related to the wider DB movement outages.
