Preventive Maintenance on kit items

Hi,

We are currently on Dynamics GP 10. Is it possible to have PM on a kit item and different PMs to the items attached to the kit? When we do PM on the kit item, all the sub items attached to it also gets PM done at the same time?

Is it something field service is capable of?
