Marketing list associated views account/contact/lead

Posted on by 2

Hi,

On the form of a marketing list, one can open the associated view of members.

When this view is displayed, some menu items are visible.

The user would like to hide "Run report" and "Export marketing list".

How can I hide these menu items? In ribbon workbench, I do not find these.

RE: Marketing list associated views account/contact/lead

    Hi,

For the RunReport and ExporttoExcel, I see Hide Actions (fua.Mscrm.SubGrid.account.ExportToExcel.Hide and fua.Mscrm.HomepageGrid.account.RunReport.Hide) in the subgrid from account, and also from contact.

I thought that would be sufficient, but it is visible.

Hence I was wondering if it works differently for marketing list as I don't have experience with this part of Dynamics.

Which entity are you looking for?

Depending on the entity that the marketing list is targetting (such as Account, Contact, Lead), the associated members view changes.

Either way, you should be able to see the buttons 'Run Report' and 'Export to Excel' in the sub-grid ribbon of the ribbon workbench. You can hide them there.

PS: Exporting records and running reports can also be controlled through security roles, but they are not entity specific.
