Financial dimension lookup

Hello,

I want to customize Fixed Asset financial dimension lookup so I can have 3 columns instead of the default 2 columns.

How can I implement such requirement?

Any help is most appreciated.

    Hi J. Doe,

    Can you explain what you mean with another column? If you want to use another dimension, you can use the dimension setup and account structures to add a new dimension.

    On the print screen, I want to insert a 3rd column showing Asset serial number on the place of the red arrow.

    Hi,

    Do you always have a 1:1 relationship between the asset serial number and your fixed asset?

    Can't users theoretically put anything into the FA serial number field or have you made a modification to prevent that?

    Yes, it is always a 1:1 relationship and FA serial number will have only a serial.

    Hi J. Doe,

    The dimensions are dynamically generated. Not sure, but I do think the form DimensionDefaultingLookup is used where the datasource and controls are added dynamically. You can check this and probably hook in in case of fixed assets lookup.
