Hi,

I can't seem to change the Icons for the areas within the Navigation Bar (Sales, Marketing etc) using Sitemap Editor in XRMToolbox.

If I change the ID of the area to something custom, the icon is replaced with the ID Text. If I try to change the icon using the list of web resources nothing happens.

Is there something I need to add before the Web resource in the Icon field? I've tried Icon="webresource*******" instead of just the webresource, but that doesn' make a difference.

Any ideas?

    Hi JD,

    Make sure you use the path to web resource this way: Icon=$webresource:sample_/icons/MyAreaIcon1.png

    What is the CRM version you are using. The sitemap XML for CRM 2015 is not same as the 2013. See the following link for the new sitemap structure and modification details ,

    Thanks for the responses guys, but still no luck!

    I've used exactly that path format (with multiple web resources for testing purposes) and there's still no change.

    2015 Update 1 Hasintha. I've followed the guide but still no change.
