Thank you Mark! Is it possible to create a test page on Production BP and link it to test DB? My understating - BP pages hierarchy is:
SHAREPOINT-> aspx page-> ASP page. My goal test my changes without recreating a test infrastructure.
I would suggest either reviewing the code in the BP Timecard page to see what gets called when the user clicks the Duplicate link, or use a SQL Profiler to track it. If the action is calling a stored procedure, then it might be possible for you to modify the proc to obtain the desired result.
This should be possible depending on what you are trying to achieve.
