Is there a Report in AX based on Shipped Product Serial Numbers?

I am looking to run a report to see what serial numbers have shipped to customers.  Does this exist?  I would basically like to drill down to product, customer, or sales order.  Any advice would be helpful.

I am not aware of such a report though I can see for some circumstances, like reporting sales back to a vendor that it might be useful.

It is potentially huge report that might impact performance -  it either has to look at all sales order lines for all customers, for any date range, and then check whether the item is serialised  or to look for all serialised items, find the sales order lines for all customers and date ranges, and then also look up the PO details.

So some filter seem essential, e.g. only one customer or one item at a time. The data exists in the tables, otherwise you would not be able to trace a serialized item, however the amount of data might be huge, so I suggest start with either Excel, or Power BI .

    Hi,

You can use Item trace form to drill down forward and backwards to serial numbers shipped for that particular item.

Navigate to Inventory management > Tracking dimensions > Item tracing

You can use to trace forwards and backwards based on the dimensions you setup to generate the details.

    Hi,

Also you can use sales order lines reports for that particular item  to see which serial numbers were shipped to a particular customer.

Navigate to Sales and marketing > Inquires and reports > Sales order reports > Sales order lines

Add dimensions as per need and generate report.

Although late in responding to this, I think you'll find the results that you are looking for as noted below:

Sales and marketing > Sales orders> All sales orders | Pick and Pack | Journals | Packing slip journal

Select the customer or the SO /  Highlight Packing slip /  Go to History /  Go to Lines / Go to Lot Transactions / the s/n's should be in the far right side of this report.

    Cheers..

As discussed its possible to inquire by an SO, but to see all SOs and all customers for an item you will need to build  report off the data behind this inquiry form.
