Report multilanguage date format

Hi,

on the report SalesQuotation I have a date-field RespiteDate from Table SalesQuotationJour.
We are a german company so we format the date like 01.03.2016 (DD.MM.YYYY). Now we want to send the quotation to a US customer, so we want to format it like 01-Mar-2016.
So I changed the following in fetch method:

element.design().languageID("en-us");

CustQuotationJour_RespiteDate.dateMonth(5);

CustQuotationJour_RespiteDate.dateSeparator(7);
CustQuotationJour_RespiteDate.dateYear(3);

But now the date looks like this: 01-Mär-2016. The month (3 digits) is still in german language.

How can I translate it to "Mar" in english language?
I don't want to make a string-field and format/translate it by code!

    Hi,

    Have you tried to open the AX client in English language and execute the report?

    You can change the language of the client in the user options form (Tools / Options).

    Then, you can execute the report and it will be printed in English. I think it may be usefull for you.

    I can open the report with an english client and here it works, but it's not practicable for the user. I can't tell the user to work with an english client because not all users can speak or understand english.
