Focus Problems when opening a Lookup

I am having issues focusing a window when oping a lookup up. I click the lookup button and the window opens behind the form I am trying to lookup from. I have tried everything I can think of to keep the focus on the lookup form but no luck so far. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

    Bummer.

Here's a few things I would look at in order of easy to more difficult, not most to least likely.

    1. Set hyperspace to true on the lookup button property window.
    2. Check that the from window is not modal.
    3. Link the lookup to the field and see what happens when you do a ctrl-L, perhaps you are double clicking
    4. This is more likely your issue.  Look in your lookup window pre-scripts or what ever else you call when you open the window to be sure you are not executing a line of code that brings the focus back to your other window.  I do this occasionally where I might say 'set focus to 'Item Number' of window Custom_Item_Entry' when I meant to say 'set focus to 'Item Number' of window Custom_Item_Lookup'.
    5. Look for a rogue pre script bit of code that might be left over if you created your lookup by copying it from an existing lookup window.

    Hello Nunzia,

Dynamics GP lookup is not very user friendly if you are using Project Accounting you will go crazy. I have developed 'smart lookup' for Project Accounting, customer,Items,Vendors and Accounts. Will you like to take look?

Please feel free to call/email me if you need demo copy of it.

    Thanks
