Document type on inventory transfer window

Hello,
I'm again having an issue with a new user and this Document type on the inventory transfer window.  As Beat Bucher had figured, it had nothing to do with the home page customization and their user role.   I did do all the other things that I tried that day back in 2022 though.  Does anyone have any other ideas?  We are now on Dynamics 18.5.1596, and Binary Stream v18.00.1101

    Hey Laura,

    The issue is due to not having the Inventory Document-Types assigned to a Security Task that is assigned to a Security Role assigned to the user.

    In the screenshot below, you can see the Security Task for Inventory Document Numbers.



    I believe that is what you are missing and what is missing for the user. You will need to either assign a Role to the user that has this or create a new Task and assign the task to a role that is assigned to the user.

    The default tasks that have this are:
     
    1. ACCOUNTING MANAGER*    
    2. AP CLERK*              
    3. AR CLERK*              
    4. BOOKKEEPER*            
    5. CERTIFIED ACCOUNTANT*  
    6. CUSTOMER SERVICE REP*  
    7. ESS EMPLOYEE MANAGER*  
    8. ESS EMPLOYEE*          
    9. ESS PURCHASE REQUESTER*
    10. IT OPERATIONS MANAGER* 
    11. LIMITED USER - FIN*    
    12. LIMITED USER - INV*    
    13. LIMITED USER - PAYRL*  
    14. LIMITED USER - PURCH*  
    15. LIMITED USER - SALES*  
    16. OPERATIONS MANAGER*    
    17. ORDER PROCESSOR*       
    18. PAYROLL CLERK*         
    19. PURCHASING AGENT*      
    20. PURCHASING MANAGER*    
    21. SALES WINDOWS          
    22. SHIPPING AND RECEIVING*
    23. WAREHOUSE MANAGER*
