Cheryl,
The RMS Receipt template is actually stored into the database once loaded. You may wish to try re-loading the receipt template just to make sure you have a stock, out of the box copy without any possible FP1 data. Cannot say if it will help or not, but it is something to try!
Hello
It makes sense, but unfortunately not possible as we only have the one workstation, so I couldn't copy over a template from any other machine even if I wanted to.
thanks
Cheryl,
This one is a bit harder to diagnose without digging in, but just trying to take a crack at it, it sounds like you may be using a Receipt Template from after RMS 2.0 Feature Pack 1, but are using a version of the software from before Feature Pack 1. Is this possible? I cannot find Report.Vouchers in the list of valid receipt variables from the RMS Customization guide, which tells me it was added sometime after RMS 2.0 came out. Most of said changes came with FP1.
Let me know if any of this makes sense!
Hello
Thank you for your help, it was because the path name was incorrect in the register properties. However i now get a further error message when trying to print off the same report, "Compiler error: Token 'report.vouchers' was not found". Not sure where this is coming from, could you please advise me again. thank you
Sounds like there is an invalid character in the path to your store logo. If you are only experincing this on X/Z reports, then I would check the receipt template you have defined for those actions and ensure the path is proper. Failing that go into Administrator, File -> Configuration, click on the Register tab and ensure the path the Store logo is set properly there as well.
