Hello All Experts,

I need to extract the data from CRM system and give to some other system.

which timezone should i consider for a user that will uniquely identifiable throughout all the systems.

i heard that whenever we need to extract the data from CRM then we need to create a separate user whose timezone is (UTC).

Problem Statement:

There is a difference in time after fetching all the records from the CRM of different users.

Need experts advice on this.

I have the same question (0)

If you are not aware about specific timezone  where you are sending data ,you should always use UTC standard . In Dynamics 365 all date-time value always stored as  UTC standard in the Database ,each user having specific timezone preference and based on user timezone converts the date-time at the time of retrieve and populate in the UI to avoid  timezone issue. In other words if you know the timezone then converts date-time value to specific timezone from UTC and send to the other system.

    Hello Goutam,

    Thanks for your update ,

I don't know the timezone of the user where i am going to send the data.

In our current system we have different timezone which are occupied by different user.

I need to extract data of all the user's , should i go ahead with UTC timezone for these CRM users as well?

yes  use UTC  , so that integrated system can convert the date-time with their timezone.
