Morning

I'm trying to changed one of the components in one of my Stages. I'd added a Power Automate Flow, now I'm trying to change that Flow and I get:

Error

An error has occurred.

Try this action again. If the problem continues, check the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Community for solutions or contact your organization's Microsoft Dynamics 365 Administrator. Finally, you can contact Microsoft Support. If you contact support, please provide the technical details.

And when I test the app when I try and move onto any of the next stages I get:

Execute Workflow

Workflow must be marked as on-demand or child workflow.

    Hi Sutekh,

    Thank you for your query.

From the error it appears that the Flow is Invalid and has some missing steps.

Please check and correct the workflow/flow logic and try again.

If the issue, persists please contact Microsoft support for further investigation and assistance.

Does your flow still have "Manually trigger a flow" as the first step?

The flow trigger (the first step) needs to be either "Manually trigger a flow" or "PowerApps" to be able to use in a Business Process Flow

That makes sense. So if I add a PowerAutomate Flow to the Business Process Flow?

If you add a PowerAutomate Flow to the Business Process Flow, the flow needs to be on-demand flow.

Sorry to be thick, so the trigger action needs to be 'Manually Trigger a flow'?

Yes. That's correct. The trigger action of the flow needs to be 'Manually Trigger a flow' so that it can be used in a Business Process Flow.
