Trying to develop an Android application for Inventorization

I'm new to dynamics development and I'm lost what I have to do to connect to dynamics and get the needed data or send data through inbound and outbound ports.
Do I have to develop a new service and host it on IIS then deal with it, or I can use built-in services that the WHSMobileDevice use?

If you see I'm lost, please lead me to the best scenario I can take to reach my goal

    Hello Sam,

I beliveve you can check the standard AIF document services to see if they suit your requirement. You can develop a new customized service if you want to exchange the data which is not in the OOB service.
