Dear All,

I am facing an issue while exporting invoice journals inside a Project. It is giving this error. /An error occurred while exporting the data to Excel. Please contact your system administrator./

This issue is only with Project invoice Journals table. All the other tables are getting exported to excel without any error. Even for the server it is working very well only the clients have the issue. Kindly help me on this.

Hi,

Maybe you check if the necessary permissions are set correctly for the users experiencing the issue to perform the Excel export.

Hope other experts can suggest on this.

Hi,

Permissions are there, they can even export all other tables except this Project invoice journal. And not only one user all client users are experiencing the same issue. But only from server directly it is working fine.

Hello, Try to export as data entity once, there you may get clearer details about error.

Please assist me, how to export as data entity? While I am exporting to Excel (CTRL+ T), I am getting the only one error I mentioned. /An error occurred while exporting the data to Excel. Please contact your system administrator. /

Hi,

Thanks for the clarification. Do all users have the same issue when exporting to Excel? Can you check what options are set for the Excel export on the user options? Is the option Workbooks supports refresh set to When possible? If so, try to change this to Never.

Hi,

Thank you for your quick response.
All the client users having the same issue. The option Workbooks supports refresh was already in Never option. Also, While I am trying form the server directly, it is exporting without any error.

Hi,

Additionally, the only issue all the user facing only in OVERVIEW Table inside the Project Invoice Journal (Project Management and Accounting > *Any Project* > Manage > Invoice Journals). On the invoice journals there is two tables one is OVERVIEW and another ON-ACCOUNT. Even the ON-ACCOUNT table Easly exporting to excel without an error message. But only the OVERVIEW has the issue. Other than this, From the AX all users can export any tables without error to Excel.

Thanks for the additional details. Do you have the same issue when selecting some records instead of exporting all? How many invoice records do you have? Are there customizations on this form?

HI,

If there is One or more invoices, it still happening the same for every projects. I even tried to select only one line, that also giving the same result.
