Hello everyone!
I have a Phone Campaign Activity and want to inform the user/users i assign the campaign to. I choose Distribute Campaign Activity and choose Assign to another user or team. This way the workflow won't start.
The only way to start the workflow is by manually changing the Owner before distributing the Campaign Activity.
Is there a way to do this?

As per my understanding, your workflow should trigger when Owner field changed manually. If owner changed automatically (using code) then it should not trigger.
If this is your question then as per my knowledge, unfortunately we can't differentiate this. But you can do one thing is
Create one two optionset field and set default value as No abd make it as hidden.
if owner field value changed through code then make it as Yes.
Now in workflow add another condition that if Two option field value is No then only workflow should trigger. Or else it should not.
