Hello,
One of my seniors has asked that he wants to add freight and credit card fee once he has generated a sales invoice for the customer.
as far as I know there is no way we can make changes to Posted Sales Invoices. If I try to create an extension, I am not sure whether it would be the best approach to move forward. Can you suggest what should be done?
I have the same question (0)

This operation is not recommended for customization. Item Charge is the correct approach, but this requires creating another invoice, and it is associated with the posted shipment, not the original posted invoice.
If you need to add this information to the original invoice, you can only use what Mohana mentioned, cancel the original invoice first and create a new one.

    Hope this helps as well.
    Thanks.

If the freight and credit card fee needs to be applies to the item price, then using item charges is recommended. However, as mentioned that will create a 2nd invoice. If you need to have one invoice, then you can reverse the original invoice and create a new invoice with the correct information.
