I love the new features of Management Reporter 2012 (MR 2012). But, I am having issues figuring out why I cannot get several of them to work.
First, the Comment feature in Report Viewer is excellent! But, when I try to use the "Copy" button to copy a comment to a different version of the report, that Comment does not appear on that other version. I noticed on "YouTube" that someone else is running into the same issue. Thoughts?
Also, the GP 2013 Detail Inquiry window is not appearing upon clicking on the "Dynamics" button in Report Viewer, for drilling down. The client is on the latest service pack for MR 2012 (2.1.1033.30). We drilled-down to the Account Level of the report itself in Report Viewer and highlighted an amount. Then, we clicked the Dynamics button, while being logged in to GP. Still, no GP window appeared. The report does not have a tree. Does it need a tree, in order for GP drill-down to work?
Finally, we were able to click "E-Mail" in Report Viewer and choose to send an e-mail. But, when the client opened her e-mail Inbox, no e-mail appeared. (We decided to send to her, so that we could view this piece of the technology.) Now, she uses only Web Outlook and it looks like an old version of Web Outlook, at that. And, their Office apps are 32-bit and not 64-bit. Is that why?
