Opportunity Sales Process is not as per default

Hi Everyone,

The ideal Opportunity Sales Process should be

Qualify - Opportunity
Propose - Quote
Contract - Order
Close - Order

but my default Opportunity Sales Process is appearing as follows (I didn't make any changes)

Qualify  - Opportunity
Develop  - Opportunity
Propose - Opportunity
Close - Opportunity

However, Leads to Opportunity Sales Process is exactly the same as it should be

Qualify - Lead
Develop - Opportunity
Propose - Opportunity
Close - Opportunity

What am I missing or is this a bug?

    Thank you for clarifying the doubt. Where can I see this process flow in Customizations?

    Opportunity Sales Process is not showing what I need in my current environment, but in all the others it is different. As Fun suggested I have to change it. But I wonder why is it different in others by default than ? Maybe some settings I am missing?

    This is the way the OOB sales process is set up in CRM. Quotes are meant to be created as child records of an Opportunity. So there are in a way 2 separate branches in a sales process. The branch Quote (accept Quote)> Order (create Invoice)> Invoice runs separate from the "main" Opportunity Business Process Flow. The Quote>Order>Invoice process predates the Opportunity BPF and is historically separate.

    I think you are talking about Lead to Opportunity Sales Process, But here I am talking about Opportunity Sales Process (when a new opportunity is created the business process flow stages appears as Qualify, Propose, Contract, Close). Can you please provide me a screenshot from your Opportunity Entity

    No this is not a bug, this is original design, but you can change it.

    You mean to say I should modify my existing one according to default one?

    Is this a bug as I have multiple environments. And all has the same except for this one!

    By default it should be like,

    Qualify - Lead

    Develop - Opportunity

    Propose - Opportunity

    Close - Opportunity

    Go to your bpf and change the stage accordingly.
