For the root url, please try restarting "World Wide Web Publishing Service" and doing an iisreset.

I am not able to access the usnconeboxax1aos.cloud.onebox.dynamics.com/.../servicesmetadata on my Dev VM as well. Looking into what the issue could be.

The metadata for entities is on https://usn.../data/#metadata does that work?

The SOAP services url is different.

Also check the hosts file is there a mapping to usnconeboxax1aos.cloud.onebox.dynamics.com? If not add one, and map it to the local ip address it is using.

What you are trying to look at using above URL usnconeboxax1aos.cloud.onebox.dynamics.com/.../servicesmetadata .. Do you want to look at metadata Service ?

    Try  this -  usnconeboxax1aos.cloud.onebox.dynamics.com/.../metadataservice

If you want to look at how you can use custom  service endpoint , take a look at below link

    docs.microsoft.com/.../custom-services

My root url " usnconeboxax1aos.cloud.onebox.dynamics.com" is giving 500 Internal server error. So I am troubleshooting it. While browsing this ServiceMeta Data URL, i got this detailed error. I am not sure if this could be due to the firewall/network issue in my network ?
