Trial Balance, Spread Periods?

I am trying to run the Trial Balance Spread Periods, but am not having success. I am given a message "The date formulat 'M' should include a number, but I don't see anywhere that I have a date formula. Any ideas, or is there a better way to get side by side TB comparisons?

thanks for the reply, but I believe that is for Finance & Operations, not Business Central.

I did resolve this, it just needed the Accounting Period setup.
