How do I suppress non ap gl accounts?

I am trying to suppress an account from appearing on the AP GL edit list. I know the account index but I keep getting errors. I am using report writer. Is there someone that knows how to do this and can walk me through it?

The accounts I am tring to suppress are offset accounts and I do not need to see them. Does any one know how to do this?

If you suppress you are also doing this on the PM Trx posting journla not just the edit list. Which means you won't see all of your GL when you post nor when you run checks. I would not be recommending that you do this at all.

Smart list ask for the Puchases Account Number and then look at your batch. (Under Purchasing>>Payables Transactions). Add your Batch Number and ask for the Purchase Account Number.

Or use the excel list builder and look at the PM10100 table which is the PM distribution Work Open and you would have to join with the GL00105 in order to get the ACTINDX translated. You would want to be looking at the distribution where Type='6'.

If you wanted to go further then you could use SmarList Builder to create this type of report.

All sorts of ways to get this out of the system. I just wouldn't recommend doing it through the Edit list.
