"an administrator changed one or more extensions.... " popup - but none have been changed!

Hi,

on three different client tenants this week we've seen the popup for an administrator has changed an extension;

BUT... none have been changed.

We've just had a site with multiple users reporting receiving the popup so I've checked in detail:
- extension installation status window in BC shows nothing since last extension was installed and completed numerous hours previously
- "environment operations" page in admin shows same - nothing within past few hours.
- The update window is set to run from 1am to 7am (time of popups - 10.15am - 10.40am) - so shouldn't be Microsoft (or, if it is, we should get the less obtrusive "sorry to interrupt, please refresh when convenient" popup)

Anyone else seen this behaviour this week / unexpected notifications about extensions being installed when they have not been?

Thanks

    We’ve also encountered the same issue recently which seems to have started after the most recent minor update.

    We are experiencing the same, only noticed it in the last week or so, since the latest minor update. Our last extension installation showing in the status window was in May 2024.

    This can be caused by a user designing the page whereas another user is accessing same page same time.
    It can also be a code change made when someone is accessing the data set.

    Hi, If the notification is displayed in the upper right corner like the one below, it is a notification pushed by Microsoft. Partners or customers cannot push notifications from here.
    So as Mohana mentioned, this is an update from Microsoft.

    Thanks.

    MS has applied some hotfixes so because of this so many users got this message.
    MS is looking at it and working on updating MS hotfixes based on the update window soon.
