Max number export Excel File Best practice Dynamics CRM

Hello

I have a performance Question :Actually we know the max of export record to Excel File Recommanded by Microsoft is 10000 using Dynamics CRM 2015 on premise

But for a business raison we double it the maxrecordsforexporttoexcel = 20000

is it to risky as value ?

Any Idea or recommandation Please ?

Hey,

Put it as high as you need. One customer asked me to set this limit to 1000000 and I have not heard any complaints from their side.

Hi Partner,

Microsoft has recommended the count of records from export to excel, however it not a limitation that you can only export 10000 using Dynamics CRM 2015 on premise

If Extending the count doesn't impact your org [performance there's no issue in extending the same.

Hi Jamil ,

The total number of record which you want to export would depend on how many resources you could utilize as the process of creating the export would be highly dependent on the SVC servers which are running on the back end as well as Front end server, in my experience, you could increase the number to 50,000 Record ( with 1 SVC server - also depend on how many concurrent user already CRM )
