Microsoft Dynamics CRM (Archived)

Issue to log in Sales hub of Microsoft Dynamics 365 app

I have installed the Microsoft Dynamics 365 app and tried to log in. Got logged in successfully but when I click on Sales Hub I get following error message.

{Message: The app URL wasn't found or you need the permission to open it. Please check the URL and try it again or contact the system administrator. }

I have checked the credential and able to log in with the same credential on a web browser.

    If the "My Apps" has disappeared from your site map, the previously supplied URL didn't work for me, however the following does

     "<your_organization_URL>/apps"

    For Admin level users its getting access

    And for user level once its is not able to access

    As you said that if solution would be the problem, no one will be able to access

    I think what you need is to give the Security Role "App" Read permissions on the Customization tab of the security role.

    I think you are looking in the wrong place.  You're looking at the Apps page in Office 365.  You need to go to the 'My Apps' page in CRM, under 'Settings'.

    I had to manually add this page to my sitemap.  That typically happens with upgraded orgs.  Here's the URL/icon I used:
    /tools/AppModuleContainer/applandingtilepage.aspx
    /WebResources/msdyn_/Images/AppModule_Default_Icon.png

    Hi all. I am experiencing the same issue. Moreover, I am system administrator and I see this screen and Office 365 Admin sees the same. Is there any other suggestion how to manage roles?

    I have also found that system administrator and system customizer role can access it.

    It looks like the missing permission is global read access to security roles.  Under Business Management, you'll see Security Roles listed as an entity. 

    You don't actually need 'global' read access, but you need read access at the root business unit.  This kinda makes sense, because the association between the App and the Roles is made at the root BU.

    Hi! I tried to do the same, and no luck :(

    If I give Salesperson role to the user, he is able to open an app. This role doesn't have any permissions for custom entities.

    Organization is set to Read in Business Management Tab.

    May be you can share screenshot with your configuration, hope I find what is missing in my role.

    Update: gave more read permissions from Business Management tab, took Salesperson as a target and finally it worked.

    Hope MS will make better error message, so we won't waste that much time trying to find a solution.

    Finally resolved this issue, I am using D365 v9.0 . After spending almost a day and doing lot of trial and error found the solution. Follow the same steps what Manoj explained and in addition to that More permission required for Custom role, Custom Entities and any other customisation to be available in App to access app on mobile/tablet. 

    1. Select Role (Settings - > security)

    2. Click on Business Management tab

    3. Select Security Role and give Read Permission to Organization

    4. Select Custom Entities tab and give Read permission to Parent-Child business unit if App is configured for custom entities

    I have done customization for Sales Hub with Dashboard, Custom Entities and everything included as part of Solution,  but somehow when installed in different environment all customizations lost except Dashboard.
