How do I export all Navision customization in one instance to a new instance in Nav2018?

Hi experts, basically i want to export everything including user accounts, customized reports and application changes from one instance to a new instance. I do not want any data transferred across. Backing up and restoring from SQL management studio works but it will bring all data across. My objective is to start a brand new company in a brand new instance with all customization done in the old instance. May I know what is the best way of doing that? Also for all entries like customers, vendors do I export or copy to Excel and paste in the new instance? Thanks very much.

Yes to export all the objects please go to development environment of old system and import them in new system, by doing this all your custom code would be transferred into new instance.

    Cheers!

Hi Nitin, thanks for replying. Do you mean I go to Development environment and export old and restore to new instance? If i have custom feature like synchronization of data across all companies will this feature also be transferred across to new instance?

    Hi,

If you mean only to create a new instance and move your all customization including every modified objects from old instance, then export all the objects and import back into new instance.

Later on you can create configuration package all of your master records and import this package in to your newly created instance.

I hope I have answered you,  then please check on Yes button.
