Approval Workflow in the Journal Name

Hi.

Sometimes when I try to put Approval workflow = No, the system doesn't allow me to edit this option. I checked if there was a pending journal with this workflow, but it doesn't exist.

Even removing the Workflow from the field, Approval Workflow is not editable and the following message appears:

The workflow might have active instances. You can view active instances and disable them through Workflow administration. Do you want to save changes?

Can you help? Thanks.

Hi Patricia,

Please check if there are any instances in this workflow and if this field is locked by personalization.

I think the answer can be found in the message that you received:

Please check our open OAF fixed asset journals and complete the workflows.

Once they are completed, you should be able to disable the workflow and make the changes that you need.

Hi Patricia Isabel,

Are you facing this issue with only OAF fixed Assets journal or with other journals as well such as

General Journal or Payment Jorunal WF's. Can you please check that.

In my standard environment, i am able to enable and disable the WF on any journal without any issue. I frequently does that in our standard environment but never face this issue before.

Can you recheck again if there is any fixed asset journal still in pending state or marked as private by any user which you might not be able to see from your user.

Hi,

Thank you for your message.

There is no pending journal for this workflow. If I go to Workflow History (Common > Inquiries > Workflow), journals are Completed or Canceled.

This has already happened in the testing environment with other users as well.

Hi,

Yes in other journals that I had to change, it didn't happen and the workflow (WF-000004) was the same. Only in this OAF gives the error.

1st I changed an EAF with workflow WF-000004 active and I was able to disable it. 2nd needed to change the OAF and I had this error.

There is no pending journal OAF or with WF-000004 in Workflow history or in the menus of these journals.

Do I get journals that are pending workflow otherwise?

Can I see the journals that are pending workflow in a different way than in the journal type menus and in Workflow history?

The workflow history form in the Organization administration module might help here.

Please check OrgAdmin/Workflow/Workflow history.

Hi,

The results are the same.

For the workflow WF-000004 all the instance ID are with completed or canceled status, even with Standard view.
