Button is not displayed after changing Ribbon xml.

The Follow button is not displayed on the entity list (Homepage Grid) after removing a custom display rule using the Ribbon Workbench.

I added a custom display rule to the follow button on the case entity and 6 months later I have removed the custom display rule.

Below is a screen shot of the Mscrm.HomepageGrid.FollowCommand in Ribbon Workbench.

I have done the following actions to preempt any of the obvious questions.

  1. Cleared the cached
  2. Ensured that at least one item on the case hompage grid is selected.
  3. Published all customisation

Goutam Das - What do you mean by "screen shot of the logic"?

The original post has the current display and enable rules. The screen shot should be the same as a clean CRM install as I added a custom display rule, then I removed the custom display rule.

    Hi,

I am not sure what changes you did in your display rules , it will be good to put one screenshot here of the logic , seems something going wrong or overwriting when you are publishing.

Try to create separate unmanaged solution and add the particular entity and check whether the display rule is there or not.

Also you can reverse your display  rule instead or remove and set always true as an alternate to visible this button.

    Hope this helps.

It is in an unmanaged solution in our dev environment.

As you said  after six months ,I am assuming that there was some more changes done during last six months .  It may be related to solution managed/unmanaged or may be enable rules.

Are you talking about  unmanaged solution same environment or in another environment managed solution?

Great, is there any way to confirm that the customization publishing has gone through?
