Change live customer journey: email templates, tiles and so on

Hi, 

I try to find a summary on what is possible to edit in a live journey and I see different answers all the time.

So what is possible to change in a live journey and how will it affect the contacts?

Change email template:
Have a live journey that is based on a form. Contacts have already gone through the journey but new contacts still come in. 
Can we make changes in the email so all the new contacts get the changed template?

Add tile:
Have a live journey, same as above but want to add tile (1 more email) 1 week after the last tile.
Is it possible and will it only affect new contacts in the journey or will those who finished the journey also get the new email?

Does anyone have a list on what you can or cant do in a live customer journey?
