report fields

hi i would like to ask if there is a way to auto-adjust the length or width of report fields in dexterity reports based on the number of characters, words they contain. for example if a field contains something longer than its given length on the report it gets cut. Is there a way to break to an new line below maybe?

also, if for example i have a report header that is has a height of two lines and i place a field on the second line that may or may not be empty is it possible to limit the height of the header to one line if the field on the second line is empty?

The Great Plains report writer does not offer any automatic adjustment to height or width based on data when a report is printed.

There is one exception I know of, which is when a text field is included in the body of a text report as the only field. You can specify it as one line, but it will expand based on the data.
