Hi ,

I am trying to find the place where the ContactId number sequence is setup in AX 2012. I am not able to find it. When i check the number sequence, its showing Area as "Basic" (which is Org Admin) in 2012. But when i checked in Org Admin, I didnt see anywhere this number sequence is setup. Can someone guide me where this is setup? In which module and the path? Thanks.

Contac Id in sales and marketing Module? Did you check the 'Number Sequences' tab in Parameters form?

Sales And Marketing Module > Common > Contacts > All Contacts.

Yes I check in Sales & Marketing Parameters form - I didn't find the Contact Id Number sequence used there.

I believe that is a free text column until you have customized that.

    Hi DynamicsAXExplorer,

It is under Organization administration > Setup > Organization > Legal entities, on the Number sequence fast tab
