Activities Checkbox greyed on a custom entity

Hi all

I've noticed that a existing custom entity has the activities checkbox unchecked in Communication & Collaboration section of the entity. Could I check why it's greyed out and why I can't check the activities checkbox to activate that for this entity?

Any suggestions on what I can do?

I think it may be one of the boxes that you have to check when you create the entity.  If they're not done at creation, the only way to change it is to re-create the entity.

    Thanks,

The entity was created before my time and I don't know what changes they have made to it. Is there anyway to clone that entity and simply check the activities field?

I don't think so :-(  We generally make a point of ticking all the boxes when we create one and you can always untick them later if not required.

Maybe you would just like to double check to ensure you're not looking at this entity from a Managed Solution...

Niki, the inverse is actually a better approach.  Once any of those checkboxes with the + symbol are checked and published, you can never undo that.  Also, those options don't always apply to every entity ever.  I have a number of entities which don't even have Notes.
