error when posting a GL journal

Hi everyone,

I'm getting the following message when posting a GL journal.  

"Currency code must be specified"

"Sum is different from quantity * production cost"

Grateful if you would help me.

    Hello Steeve,

    Can you check the currency that is setup in the currency field in the General Tab of your Journal?

    Are you posting against a Project (cannot identify that). If so, you Need to enter a Price and a quantity in the Project tab. This sum must be in line with the amount you try to post.

    Hi Ludwig,

    Thanks for your reply.  The currency is MUR and the amount (Price *qty) on the project tab is equal to the  debit amount being posted.  That's weird!

    Hello Steve,

    You you post a screenshot of a Journal line without the box in between and another screenshot that Shows the Project tab for the line you selected? The message indicates that there is something not consistent with the amounts entered.

    Hi Ludwig,

    Please find below the screen shots.  It's a journal that has is posted regularly without any issue.  Don't know what's happening this time.

    Hello Steeve,

    Actually all looks good from your screenshots above.

    I have not found a bug reported on LCS.

    For that reason I believe that you will have to sit down with a developer and debug this issue.
