Business event in flow not triggering

Hi everyone,

First time posting, sorry if this question is not in the right forum.

I have created an alert which is triggered when changing a field in purchase order.
I have a batch job which triggers the alert, and I can see the alerts in the action center every time this field is changed. So far, so good.

I have then in power automate created a flow with a When a Business Event occurs trigger, which looks like this:

After saving the flow, a new endpoint and a business event is created in FO.
But when I trigger the alert, the flow doesn't trigger. And because it doesn't trigger, I don't get any errors to work with.
Anybody ever experienced this?
What to do in this situation?

I've read that Send email on the trigger could be an issue for business events not triggering, but this also set to no.

Hi Etlam,

Have you configured the business events in D365?

Also on the end point of the business event you need to mention your flow id and activate the business events.

Navigation - System Administration(Module name) - Setup - Business Events - Business event catalog.

Hi,

Have you configured Business event batch in FO? If batch is not running, BE will not be executed.

Hi GirishS,

The problem was actually that it was not the batch job for alerts that triggers business events.

I found the business event batch job and reactivated it, and now it works!

once you enabled the business event Batch job Parameter to yes , you need to keep recurrence for the business event batch job for every 1 min with no end then the flow will trigger
