CDS in Power Automate

My flow won't work!  I don't know what should be in the "record identifier" field in the "Update a record" step.  Nothing I try from the dynamic content dropdown works (they are Opportunities entity fields).  The error message says "Resource not found".

    Hi @Andy Draus ,

    Could you post a screenshot of your flow?

    You should be able to find an Opportunity unique identifier to place in record identifier field.

    Do your flow resemble something like this ?

    What I want to do is... when a checkbox is set on the Opportunities form, I want to send an e-mail upon save.  I want this any time an Opportunity is created or updated and that box is checked.

    Here's a shot of the results, with error message:

    And do I need a "get record" step?

    I tried to do this with CDS instead of Dynamics connector (I hear that's being deprecated).  But I had so much trouble there, that I gave up and went back to Dynamics connectors.

    Why did you put that updated record step?Do you want to update the opportunity after you send the email?

    Anyway you're filling a unique identifier field with topic(name) of the opportunity, so for sure we have at least identified the error.

    Have you already take a look at some blog tutorial like this?

    I want to update the Opportunity after sending the e-mail so that the next time a user opens that opportunity, it won't send again.

    Hi Andy,

    You can select the Opportunity unique identifier as the Record identifier for the Opportunity as shown in the screenshot  below.

    Also after reading your comments, it seems you are trying to update the Opportunity record after sending an email. To do so this the “Update Record” condition must be inside the true block of the condition step, so it won’t update the record every time.
