I am a newbie at D365 and am looking for a way to export all emails associated with contacts and leads in D365 (xlsx or CSV format).
I have tried advanced filtering and can only extract the subject of the emails. Is there a way to extract the body of the emails as well?
Any insight would be great!
Hi Tash,
The body of the email is description field of email entity in D365, and label of description field is hidden in the form.
So you need add the description field to the view to export, then you can extract the body of the emails.
But the description field is unreadable in the view or Exported excel, as in CRM the Email desacription field is saved in HTML Format, Excel will just show the html text.
So you can refer following links to remove html from email description:
