I have created a new trial D365 Marketing trial environment, I follow the steps and up to step 5. There is option for web hosting. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-au/dynamics365/marketing/purchase-setup

Web hosting option(integration with Portal) is only available in subscribed version.
Marketing trials can't be integrated with a Dynamics 365 Portal. Instead, they provide a special mechanism that lets you try out landing pages, forms, the event website, and other interactive features without requiring a Dynamics 365 Portal or external CMS system. (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-au/dynamics365/marketing/trial-signup#how-marketing-trials-are-different-from-production-instances)
9b81d99c6dd94c2a9880762bed765234.svc.dynamics.com would be the special mechanism.(It's an internal and dedicated web site for trial version as per my understanding, and your marketing page will also be published in such format)

Thanks Clofly, it seems to have changed since I last used (early last year). It used to have the steps to prompt and create the portal when I start a new Marketing App.
