Assistance on how to use AG Utilities:Distribute One To Many

Good Day to You,

I am having a problem configuring the workflows to update the child records.

Can someone point me to a good example of how to configure the AG Utilities:Distribute One to Many?

The parent record has a field named "Subscription Type" and so does the child records.  When I create the child workflow to update the Subscription Type, I do not have "subscription type" has an option to update in the child record.

You can use Demian Raschkovan's workflow tools to archive that:

"The parent record has a field named "Subscription Type" and so does the child records.  When I create the child workflow to update the Subscription Type, I do not have "subscription type" has an option to update in the child record."

If this is the only update that you have to make on the child record, Did you consider to change the subscription type on the child record as a Calculated field?

    Nicolas,

No, I had not thought of changing the field to be calculated.

Thank you.  I will give that a try now.

    Nicolas,

I tried to do a calculated field, but I cannot access the field from the parent record.

Is this because the field on the parent record is a "Option Set" and I am configuring as a calculated field on the child?

TThis happens when the global options on the calculated option set on the child entity doesn't match with any option set field with the same global options on the parent entity..

Thank you for the reply.  Both optionsets are local, so thus I am guessing why that is causing me a problem.

In that case, If It is possible you could create new fields and then migrate the information from the previous fields to the new ones.
