How to remove D365 trial installed in base Arabic language?

Hi all

I signed up for a free Dynamics trial to add into an existing tenant, which seemed to go OK.  However for some reason it's installed it with Arabic as the base language.  No idea why, I certainly didn't choose this.  Any clues how I go about getting that uninstalled so I can get an English based trial installed?

Thanks

    Hi partner,

    1. You could switch the basic language in the system settings or power platform.

Go to Advanced Settings > Administration > Languages, select English.

Or go to power platform https://admin.powerplatform.microsoft.com/environments, select the trial environment and open its settings > Languages, select English.

    2. You could create another D365 trial environment.

Go to https://port.crm.dynamics.com/G/TrialInstances/TrialInstancePicker.aspx, select Create your own trial, click Create New Trial.

Then you could choose the language for your new environment as English.

If you want to delete the old trial environment, you need to enter the power platform to delete it.

Just reset the environment, you need to change the licence to Sandbox to be able to reset.

if is a trial environment the only option is to delete this instance and configure a new one, there is not reset option in a trial instance,

There is an option to reset a Trial? You have to convert it to a Sandbox first for as you can't reset with the Production Licence which is the default.

    Hi Paul,

thanks for that, however as you stated you can only do that after converting the trial into a production environment (meaning that mostly you need to have a paid subscription) and then into sandbox:)

Ah I think you mean if you create a trial in an existing tenant, then you only have the option to Delete or Convert, however if you create a trial Tenant with Dynamics 365 you can convert it to sandbox and reset it, I just created one.

Thank you Paul for sharing the difference between trial subscription and trial D365 environment:)

1.) Go to Settings > Administration > Languages.

Once you go there you will see a list of languages available for you to enable and the status of each:

    pastedimage1582294123019v1.png

You can enable or disable multiple languages as you wish. This allows you to change languages in Microsoft Dynamics 365.

2.) Select the language(s) you wish to enable, and/or deselect the languages you wish to disable, then click Apply.

So in this example, I have chosen Chinese (Taiwan) and have enabled the language. Usually, it takes about 20 minutes to enable a language.

    I hope this helps!
